A Thank You to Dairy Engineering

At VEEP Energy, we take great pride in every project we complete, whether it’s a large-scale commercial solar PV installation or a smaller residential system for a family home. Every customer receives the same level of care, attention to detail, and commitment to quality because we believe that every project plays a part in creating a more sustainable future.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of fantastic customers across Ireland. While every installation is unique, it’s often the people we meet along the way who leave the biggest impression on us.

Recently, our team travelled to Charleville, County Cork, to complete another project for one of our long-standing clients, Dairy Engineering. Having worked together previously, it was a pleasure to return and continue supporting their renewable energy journey.

Like many installation days, it was a long but rewarding one. Our e

ngineers spent the day ensuring everything was completed to the high standards we pride ourselves on. By the time we had finished, packed away our equipment, and completed our final checks, it was already around 5:00–6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the day wasn’t quite over yet—we still had the long three-hour journey back to Dublin ahead of us.

As we were getting ready to leave, the team at Dairy Engineering surprised us with a thoughtful gesture that genuinely made our day. Before we hit the road, they kindly offered us a fresh coffee to keep us going on the journey home. Not only that, but they also presented us with one of their branded travel mugs to take with us.

It may seem like a small gesture, but after a long day’s work and with several hours of driving still ahead, it meant far more than they probably realised. It wasn’t just about the coffee or the travel mug—it was the kindness behind it. It showed appreciation for the work our team had carried out and reminded us how meaningful simple acts of generosity can be.

The following morning, both my colleague and I found ourselves talking about it again. We agreed that it wasn’t something you experience every day.

In our line of work, we’re always focused on making sure our customers have a positive experience, but every so often a customer goes out of their way to make sure we feel appreciated too. Those are the moments that stay with you.
