1. Company Overview

VEEP Energy Ltd (formerly SaveMeMoney Wind & Solar Ltd) is an Irish renewable-energy company specialising in the design, supply, and installation of solar PV, battery storage, and smart energy-management systems for the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and public-sector markets.
Based in Dublin, we directly employ qualified engineers, electricians, and installation professionals who deliver all works to the highest safety and environmental standards.

2. Environmental Commitment

VEEP Energy is committed to conducting its operations in a manner that protects the environment, prevents pollution, and supports the transition to a low-carbon economy.
We aim to continually improve our environmental performance and integrate sustainability principles into every level of our business.

Our key commitments include:

  • Compliance: Meeting or exceeding all applicable environmental legislation, standards, and codes of practice.

  • Sustainability: Reducing waste and emissions through efficient use of materials, responsible procurement, and environmentally conscious design.

  • Carbon Reduction: Supporting Ireland’s national decarbonisation targets by promoting renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency.

  • Circular Economy: Ensuring proper end-of-life recycling of PV panels, batteries, and packaging materials through our membership in WEEE Ireland and the Producer Register.

  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing environmental objectives and performance, and setting measurable targets for improvement.

  • Training & Awareness: Providing environmental awareness and best-practice training for all employees, contractors, and partners.

3. Implementation

Environmental management is embedded within our Integrated Management System, which is guided by the principles of ISO 14001:2015.
We allocate sufficient resources—personnel, supervision, equipment, and budget—to achieve our stated environmental objectives.

All employees share responsibility for environmental performance within their areas of work. Project managers and supervisors are required to plan and deliver works in a manner that minimises environmental impact, conserves resources, and protects biodiversity on and around project sites.

4. Monitoring and Review

Environmental performance is monitored continuously through internal audits, project reviews, and management meetings.
Findings are documented and used to refine procedures, objectives, and targets as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.

This policy is displayed on company notice boards, shared digitally with all employees, and made available to clients and stakeholders upon request.

5. Responsibility and Approval

Ultimate responsibility for the Environmental Policy and its implementation rests with the Managing Director.
All employees, suppliers, and subcontractors are expected to adhere to this policy and support its objectives.
