Annek Frozen Food – Cold Storage in Wicklow went green with the latest 80kW SolarEdge Optimised  Solar Panels, provided by Veep Energy and saved big!

Since the Smart SolarEdge Optimised Commercial Solar Panels installed on Annek Frozen Foods – Cold Storage Roof, the Solar system saved a whopping 70% of the building Summer Day time Electricity consumption and shafted 50% of the building Day time Energy consumption annually.

The commercial solar panel array, also created a shield on the roof which future reduced the Cold Storage internal temperature with two degree celsius, future accelerate the cold storage energy savings.

The Project commenced in August 2023 and was completed in less than three days.

This commercial rooftop solar PV panel installation consisted of 168 x 450Wp High efficient Glass to Glass PV panels and a 66kWp solar-edge smart solar inverter, providing additional fire safety for the whole PV project.

This Commercial Solar Panel Installation poised to offset a whopping 29 tonnes of CO2 per annum and expected to generate 72,000kW of Electricity per Annum which is equivalent of powering 18 Irish homes for a full year.
